"do you think I could “reuse” that domain from months ago? I like the domain itself.. and it has LOTS of relevance for my business.. but since it was “slapped” would Google IMMEDIATELY Slap it as soon as I launch the campaign? Do I need to create a new account in Adwords? Or will the URL remain in Google’s databanks?"

I've heard that if a domain is slapped, you should toss it. But who knows, why not load a new page up with content, set up an ad and see what your quality score is. The only way you would NEED to create a new Adwords account is if your account gets banned, which would require breaking the terms several times despite their warnings or doing something REALLY fishy like promoting an illegal website.

However, some super affiliates have 2 or more Adwords accounts set up with different IP's and names. They use one account to tweak their campaigns until they're successful, then they shut them off and move them to the other "gold" account. The tested campaigns run well on the gold account from the get-go, achieving an excellent CTR history for all the keywords and rock-bottom click prices. An easier option is to test first on Bing/ Yahoo then put the proven campaign on Google.

Lane, yes that is what I meant. Sorry Jim for not being too clear. It's the code that signs them up to MS which could be used instead of an affiliate url. I may be learning more techie stuff but it's still far from easy to actually explain it, lol.

Jim, just a quick question if I could pose to the Grand Master Jedi of PPC> =)

Way back before the PPC course.. I ran a little campaign on adwords promoting my MS affiliate link with a forward/mask on a domain I purchased from GoDaddy. The domain took the use to my MagSpons affiliate landing page. I had good quality scores.. and a decent CTR.. and then suddently I had NO impressions.. Viola! Slap! I had a POOR Quality Score.

Now fast forward months later to today.. I know better.. and have gotten into a sales funnel setup. If I HOST my own landing page.. that is more SEO and Adwords friendly.. do you think I could "reuse" that domain from months ago? I like the domain itself.. and it has LOTS of relevance for my business.. but since it was "slapped" would Google IMMEDIATELY Slap it as soon as I launch the campaign? Do I need to create a new account in Adwords? Or will the URL remain in Google's databanks?

Thanks Jim.

Hi Jim,

You wrote this to Susan:

"You really need to provide a UNIQUE experience on that page. If you copy the page you’re in violation of copyright and could get suspended. So no, you shouldn’t copy the page because it defies the purpose."

I don't think she was asking about copying the actual page. I know I wasn't. What I wanted to know, and think she did, too is this:

If I create my own personalized landing page, explaining the benefits of attraction marketing and how I use a system I have found to be the best source of training when it comes to attraction marketing, and how I only work with people who use this system. etc. etc. and I still want this landing page to funnel the person into the Magnetic Sponsoring program, for example, then is there a way to insert the code for the....

LEAD CAPTURE WIDGET?

That is all we REALLY need from the MS system, right? The rest of the landing page will be ours (of course, MS could create back office tutorials with tips and advice on how to create effective landing pages...I smell a new Dillard course), so there wouldn't be a copyright issue.

We just need the lead capture widget to enter the prospect into the MS system. Of course, what would be REALLY cool is if one lead capture widget could opt them into Ms and our own contact management system like Oprius or aweber at the same time, but that is probably asking a bit much...or is it? Still, this would be a nice starting point for someone until they learned to get those other pieces of their marketing pipeline established.

To be clear, I'm asking about this less for myself, and more out of concern for the newbies in the industry who I feel could get easily overwhelmed if you throw all this on them at once. I see the lead capture code as a nice entry point under the current circumstances.

Deborah T.,

Your questions were taken right out of my brain. It is wise to discern between
when one is confused or not and not be afraid to speak up. It's our inner gut feeling that leads us to question authority when we feel something doesn't seem right. On the other hand...

Jim, you're one hellava good mate for taking your time to produce PPC Domination, which I purchased 2 weeks ago. I too, just placed my first ad on google, yesterday, only to find it "suspended" today. I have my own online business domain at www.freehomebasedbusinessinformation.com
and as you can see, it's quite lengthy and the reason I received this suspension was
• Inaccurate Display URL

I also have a shorter version of my website for obvious reasons:
www.fhbbi.com

I have many affiliate pages throughout my site as they relate to different aspects of starting a home based business. Why is this suspension happening? Is it because my actual website name is too long and won't fit in the allotted space or due to the fact that I used fhbbi.com to connect to the main site, or...
simply because I'm using affiliate links from Klinger, Dillard and Sieg"

Most humbly,
