thank you Dr. I appreciate your kind words. so nice of you! this threading technique you mentioned is one i teach to my interns, it allows me to get away with these longer articles. looking back at it now though, there's a lot of garbage i would cut out haha. glad you enjoyed it and Ramadan Mobarak to you and your family!

This is a great article Jim. I really enjoyed reading every word of it, even the commas and the dots. The mastery is in the way you mixed a kids first fasting experience with the wisdom of a full grown business marketer; the analogy between the two lines/threads in the article is well knitted. I couldn’t, while reading the article, tell which to love most.
Excellent … I do second your colleague’s comment that you should consider writing novels one day … you will excel I believe. God bless you.

Hey Jim,

I'm a new reader to your blog. I found you when looking up something about Ann Sieg.

At any rate, really enjoyed this little article. You have a real knack for story telling. I could almost picture you walking down the hallway and seeing your parents eating there in the kitchen.

So true, what you say about headlines and all that. They sound good, they make us believe the incredible and although they are true, they usually aren't 100% true.

Reading this has come at a time also where I've realized that copywriting is more a craft that is predominantly applicable to the Internet Marketing/Make Money Online Niche. People who want to buy these sorts of products are people who want an escape from the mundane, the ordinary. Or they may be desperate to pay off debt. Or they may want to really give their family a better life, etc.

Instead of learning copywriting, learning about attraction and how to be social with everyone you meet is a far more important skill.

Just my thoughts.

Cheers,

-Johnson.

Jim,

You know I always love reading your stuff brother but this one in particular just hits at home so well. I had a very similar experience with Ramadan in my childhood. I went through a period of hating it when I was in my early teen years living in Iran. But now, having learned so much through fasting, it is one of my favorite parts of the year. Would love to discuss next time I see you.
For you to come out and disclose in writing what we all think about but fail to write regarding these "Gurus" and their launches makes you stand out as an honest person. I love how you put your integrity first and then the rest. This 'only telling you some of the story' is the reason I dislike traditional network marketing so much these days. I mean how far can we stretch the definition of integrity??? Keep on ROCKING it bro. you're awesome.
