The challenge to be fresh and creative is kind of scary because it challenges our ability to give birth to new ideas, and not minlessly wander down a path someone else has hewn. We are to look deep and ask ourselves "What do I have of value to contribute?" It's a total paradigm shift.

By the way, I enjoyed your story. How sad that the tree was an inconvenience and cut down! Thanks for sharing!

I would love to see a post from you where you describe the power of stories and images to create authenticity online. Because isn't authenticity the new "easy way to success." I am, in fact, afraid of this new trend because we risk that authenticity turns into a commodity so that we have to determine who are "really authentic" and who are just "fake authentic."

I love how you use stories as a means of making a point or training pertaining to the network marketing industry. Although I am fairly new to using the internet, I have seen changes in online marketing specifically.

I am seeing many who start online marketing thinking that just by joining a system, they will suddenly have success. Nothing can be further from the truth. I like systems and they can work, but ultimately much of the success is going to be determined by the individual and how well they can learn the many facets of marketing.

Marketing also is not what it used to be. It isn’t about just engaging in the marketing activity anymore and knowing how to do it. There is a lot of planning and prep work that goes on behind the scenes that affects the outcome of your marketing. So much to learn. This industry is definitely not for the faint of heart. Thank you for sharing.
